Hey mama!! Going on a trip?
Heading back to work?
Ready for Dad to take a turn with the baby at 1am?
I remember feeling overwhelmed by the idea of stocking my freezer, and NOT having a good relationship with my pump.
But. I needed to get milk in the freezer for an upcoming trip, so I did some research and rolled up my sleeves to give it a go.
In just 6 weeks I was able to have an entire week’s supply right while I was exclusively breast feeding the baby! (One bag 8-10oz bag per day)
Here’s what I did
1. Feed baby as normal. On demand if that’s your jam.
2. Pick a time to sit down with your pump in-between a nursing sesh. (Pick a time you can do every day)
3. 90 minutes before your date with the pump, take 8 drops of fennel vitality essential oil. (If you like the taste, 8 drops mixed with 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 cup boiling water makes tea. If you don’t like the taste, get some veggie capsules and make a pill version with the drops and take with water.)
4. Drink 12 oz water right after.
5. Sit down and pump for 15 minutes. Both breasts.
6. Save milk as desired. (Google storage options)
7. Rinse and repeat this list every day until desired stash is met!
I can’t promise these results for every mama, but it would be silly for me not to tell you how it worked for me. If you need help getting some fennel connect with me on social media and I would be happy to assist,
