Premium Starter Kits
Like you, I want to know what people are doing. Morning routines, meal prep, supplements, skin care routine…all the things!
In this blog post, I am taking the most top asked questions from a recent question box I put on Instagram. The questions are all over the map – which is my favorite.
So lets get to it, yeah?!

Do you sleep train your babies? Is your littlest sleeping through the night?
Kind of, Yes. But no?
When my baby is born, my first goal is to teach them the difference between night and day. I do this gently by doing a routine of feeding, changing diaper & playing, then napping between the hours of 7am-7pm. Once 7pm rolls around, I reverse the order of activity and cut out play time.
Between the hours of 7pm-7am when the baby wakes, I change diaper and feed them back to sleep. This has worked wonderfully to establish trust, bonding, and teaching them the difference between night and day.
Which leads to a healthy transition to the crib – eventually.
Our littlest (12 months) is sleeping through the night for the most part. There are nights here and there during milestone eras (like crawling, walking, teething) where he wakes up between 3-5am – but those nights are becoming more far and few between.
Every baby transitions to crib/sleeping through the night at a different age – according to their personality and milestones.
My biggest asset for sleeping through the night is learning cry cues. My babies end up loving their bed – but they are averse to change. (like all of us – lol) So when I am moving a baby from sleeping on me/with me to sleeping on their own, I start with introducing them to their crib at nap time. This can take a few weeks of consistency – but because we have established so much trust in the routine – they follow my lead.
Once naps in their crib are the new normal – bedtime is next. Again – each baby is different – once they are nursing less – eating more solids – sleeping through the night becomes a more normal occurrence.
I anticipate negative emotions (tears) from my baby as we begin the process, but since all mothers know the differences in their babies cries, you’ll know and feel when your baby is experiencing healthy frustration from growth and when it’s unhealthy. (we don’t neglect crying babies – we study the cry and intuitively make decisions from a good place)
Once they sleep through the night – I sleep through the night and my hormones get all happy and rested and then the Christmas pants come back out. LOL!
Glutton for challenge, I suppose.
Motherhood is wild – and there is a reason I RARELY talk about moving my babies over to the crib. It’s not a process that I’ve been able to create a proven system for.
Eventually – all children end up sleeping all night.
How did you teach the kids how to swallow pills?
I learned a trick from a friend and showed my kids how to do it! If the pill would sink to the bottom of a cup of water, put the pill in your mouth and take a drink of water and lean your head back to swallow.
if the capsule floats in water, put it in your mouth, take a drink of water and tilt your head down facing the ground when swallowing. The capsule floats to the top near your throat, making the experience much more smooth going down.
Now – My husband gags regardless of these tricks. Some people are just destined to struggle for the Lord. lol.
What do you do for your eyelashes? What kind of lashes do you wear?
Lately I have been wearing The Flirt from Flutter Habit – and I am also a Sweetheart fan and a Weightless 3 fan.
Can you take the liver supplement while pregnant? There’s conflicting opinions.
I took Paleovalley Beef Organ Complex as my prenatal in pregnancy for my last two babies, actually!
And yes – you can search for anything on google and confirm what you are looking for. I feel that.
The biggest concern I have heard in public is over vitamin A overdose. Here’s the crazy part – most Americans are vitamin a deficient which is a a cause for INFERTILITY. Yeah. Exactly.
Synthetic vitamin A is a problem – not from beef organs
Why do you use CellCore Binders?
As I was showing my supplement drawer, many followers saw an array of supplements from my top 3 companies – Young Living, Paleovalley and CellCore.
I ordered a bottle of Biotoxin Binder last October while we were visiting scottsdale as I was having some sort of strange outbreak from what looked to be Cat Scratch Fever – which I think I picked up from an Airbnb in Amarillo, TX. This binder is great to have on hand if you are interested in a gentle heavy metal detox or a desire to move a sickness along faster such as a flu or cold.
I ordered 3 bottles of ViRadChem because in the last 18 months – out of pure speculation – I think our entire family was battling radiation poisoning. (I know. wild) But it was the strangest sudden onset sickness of violent vomiting that made no sense. Everything was pointing back to radiation – and the easy button was to diffuse Melrose from Young Living and have everyone take a gentle detox.
If you need to order some, or have questions (they have a really great parasite cleanse that many of my friends have done) go message my sweet friend Dr Cindy Haggerton on the gram and she can give you a practitioner code.
Basically – because our nation is actively increasing the use of dangerous environmental products, binders are going to be just as important as supplementing key vitamins and minerals.
If anyone is throwing up – having binders on hand has been a game changer. Also these puke bags from amazon are a must for littles who are puking. Put these in your cart, your future self will thank me later!
Mellie has 4 top teeth taken out
“I’ll give you $200 to wiggle your two top teeth out.” I said to her in desperation.
“No thanks.” Mellie kindly replied.
I really had hoped these two from baby teeth would have fallen out much faster, after discovering last fall that her two top teeth were coming in.
Yes. Last FALL.
I let it go, and gave it time…until I was concerned with her bite and pallet. We gave the dentist office and call and they confirmed it would be a good idea to remove them.
We all know Mellie is a special girl, but we found out she’s truly special in her mouth ; she’s got a third front tooth growing in between her two front teeth. Which is probably why the baby teeth were holding on so hard.
There’s a lot of roots going on up there.
We mentally prepped her for the tooth extraction and she was incredible. Good attitude and left smiling with her numbed upper lip. I feel very proud of her! She will need dental surgery when she gets older, but we aren’t in a rush to tell her just yet. lol.
What is your skincare regimen and what do you use for makeup?
One of the most asked questions is along the lines of “how do you do it all”…and here’s how.
SIMPLE ROUTINES THAT ARE A BREEZE.
I love a tingly peppermint toner from Young Living – to remove makeup and clean it so good. After that, I am rolling castor oil on my face from Queen of Thrones.
Is it thick and sticky? YES. And I love that. My skin feels so hydrated and glowy – as if I were 18. Slathering my face and going for a morning walk with the sun on my face feels like heaven.
My most favorite makeup was discontinued last year, which left me feeling like a make up orphan for a minute. Thankfully WithSimplicity tri-sticks came into my life – a staple in my makeup bag – but the even greater news was the founder of my favorite makeup launched a new line and IT IS SO GOOD.
Like. So good. Between these two companies – my makeup bag is locked and loaded.
Thoughts or intuition on making a big life move plus current political climate? Bunker down or full speed?
Things are getting kinda spicy, right?
I am not known for sharing my political opinions online, but I do have them. And while every election cycle has its own flavor of fear, these last two have felt bumpy and at times, historic.
As a child of God, I hold dual citizenship – heaven and earth. “On earth as it is in heaven” is something I take seriously and I am a hopeful postmillennial.
Things get bumpy, and we never have to lay down our peace. The garden is broken, but God is walking with His children in the cool of the day (or in the heat of the Arizona desert? lol)
As of now we are moving forward in faith to put the house on the market.
FUN FACT: one month before the nation was shut down for covid in 2020, we were actively making moves to make a cross country move back to Denver Colorado. The Lord shut the door so hard in our face that we were “stuck in Florida” for that entire election cycle.
Thank you, Jesus. Florida was open for market nearly the entire time, making the pandemic experience a much different one than most of my friends in Denver had.
Dual citizenship always requires constant openness to the Lord’s plan – and I work really hard to tune into the Lord’s report before listening to the danger reports in the earth.
Pray for our nation. Pray that the nudge to Arizona is the way forward.
I am not a bunker person.
I’m a “build a family and make calm/methodical decisions as if we have 1,000 years before Jesus returns, but have a party hat ready in my purse in case He wants to come tomorrow”, kind of Christian.
How can we find an AGA stove in the United States?
The way I found ours was through Facebook Marketplace.
I would update the search settings to 250 mile radius and move the location of the circle all around the country. It’s a simple process, actually!
Have you dealt with thyroid issues? What is your go to?
I’ve experienced adrenal fatigue before, but was able to heal it through scaling back my schedule, getting more sleep, focusing on nutrition and learning how to create a sound mind.
I am getting ready for a full thyroid panel to see how its going as someone who is interested and open to having more babies.
What are your bedtime routines for the kids?
We have two sets of children these days – Bigs and Babies.
The girls share a room and the boys share a room.
The babies (age 4, 2, 1) get jammies, prayers and song and go down anytime between 7-7:30pm.
The bigs (age 8, 9, 10, 12) get themselves ready for bed and we pray with them/read and down at 9:30pm (summer) 8:30pm (fall/winter).
My husband does bedtime with both the bigs and two of the babies. It’s been a rhythm for us for a decade now because every two years I am up with a baby and sleep training them. I am with our youngest – tending to them at night until they sleep through the night.
It’s worked well for us!
I mean.
It’s still a lot of hard work, but….it’s the good work of life.
That’s a wrap!
Thank you so much for taking the time to ask questions and taking the time to read this entire blog post.
You are so deeply loved by God and I pray you experience His calm and firm presence in your day today.
