Serves 8-10 people
INGREDIENTS
10 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
6 cups oats (Click here for the brand I use)
4 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup maple syrup
In a stock pot over high heat, bring water and salt to a boil.
Add oats and bring them to a rolling boil, then turn down to medium low to simmer.
Simmer over medium low heat until all the water is gone. About 30-40 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in butter, vanilla, brown sugar and maple syrup.
Serve with a splash of cream and cinnamon and whatever toppings you like!
