1 quart
INGREDIENTS
Quart sized jar
2 medium red onion sliced thin
1 cup water
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 tablespoon salt
1 cup white distilled vinegar
HOW TO MAKE ONIONS:
Place sliced onion in jar and set aside.
In a pot over medium heat, add water, salt, and sugar until they dissolve.
Remove from heat and add vinegar.
Pour mixture over onion and stir/pack them under liquid.
Allow to cool on counter then place in the fridge for 2 hours.
Serve! They get better and stronger the long they sit.
